Those in the health-care industry were cheering recently because the second building is going up at the Cool Springs Life Sciences Center on Nichol Mill Lane. The structure, which will open in 2010, will house a sterile pharmaceutical lab and will be used by the current tenant of the first building at the center – BioMimetic Therapeutics Inc. That’s good news for economic growth (300 new jobs are expected to be added) and for the industry as a whole.  – S.C.
