Bank of New York Opens Account in Tennessee
Published May 19, 2008

Big Apple, meet Music City.

In fall 2005, The Bank of New York began a high-tech operation in north Nashville called the Tennessee Processing Center, where millions of dollars in monetary transactions are processed each day.

In fact, BusinessTN magazine reported prior to the facility’s opening that the daily dollar value of the transactions would be comparable to the gross national product of Canada.

According to The Bank of New York, the state-of-the-art facility in Nashville was created to further diversify the bank’s worldwide operations.
